Move went much quicker than expected because of having extra help. I think a Monday move means more availability. The young men were all very nice, and understanding when I had to put ‘keep out, cats’ signs on bathroom door, until they cleared the room I wanted to have the cats in. Nothing was broken, but it was a bit hectic. With more workers, I had to juggle more questions, but even when I got testy, they didn’t let it get to them.

We had Peers come the day after Christmas. They were on time and super friendly. They quote us for 7 hours and we had everything done in 4 hours. The crew was so nice and helped us place our furniture where we wanted it and even moved things a second time if we wanted it in a different room. All while smiling and making conversation. It was a great experience. If we need to move in the future we will definitely be using Peers.

I can’t say enough nice things about Peers Moving. I’ve recommended them to my own clients in the past, but never needed a move myself. Although they typically do whole house moves, I hired them to move several items including a particularly large and heavy piece of furniture out of storage and into my home. I’ve used Peers four previous times before when I was renting and once again in June 2024 when we finally decided to buy a house in NJ. This was a special move in that we had a few renovations done before moving in, such as new wood floors and paint, so we relayed to the owner Tim that it was important to us that every piece was to be lifted and placed and not simply slid along the floor. To be honest, I expected at least some nick and scratches, perhaps on the wall, particularly around the bend of the staircase. Nope, none at all. The guys were super careful in every detail, from securing boxes with additional tape, to laying down blankets on floors, to working as a team to guide each other around tight spaces and corners. The move resulted in zero damage to wall, floor, furniture. And my furniture pieces were huge, unwieldy solid wood pieces. Pricing was fair and honest, with zero hidden fees or surprise surcharges that the industry is notorious for. Peers is hands down the best. I would trust no one else to move.

The move for a 2 bedrm apt + “medium” amt of goods at Cube Smart was so well coordinated. Day 1: 4 guys packing the apt; Day 2: 8 guys loading the apt and retrieval of Cube Smart items and taking to the house and unloading and putting together furniture! This estimate was based on a Face Time and surprisingly accurate! All the guys were great; courteous; and such hard workers on a very hot day & I was mad at myself for not having enough cold water to offer! Had a fabulous moving experience with Peers Moving this month. Samir and his team were timely, professional and incredibly well-organized. They navigated multiple staircases and two different layouts (split to center hall colonial) without any problems or damage to any of the furniture, walls, etc. Immaculate work. They even helped move items in the new home once I stood back to look at room layouts and figure out where things should go. They made sure we were totally settled and satisfied before they left. They were efficient without being pushy or making me feel stressed. Honestly such a great team to work with – if we ever need movers again we will absolutely choose them! Tim, the owner, was also very responsive and timely with communications leading up to the move and after. Best decision we made – don’t hesitate – book with Peers and ask for Samir!

From the beginning inventory and quote by Tony, and confirmation by Sheila, everything went smoothly. My 3 movers, Diego, Jimmy, and Stephen were very courteous and professional, and followed my instructions flawlessly. They managed super heavy and awkward pieces of furniture. Everything about my Peer’s move was excellent. From the first telephone conversation, to the person who came for the estimate and MOSTLY for the excellent movers. They were so friendly and accommodating.

I’ve used Peers 10 times in 35 years. In all of those moves, only one issue – a flat screen TV broke a number of years ago. They said ‘go to Best Buy and get a bigger one, we’ll pay for it.’ In each case, the final price was lower than the estimate. This time, load took all of 2 hours, unload and setup less than 2 hours. Peers’ guys know what they’re doing, Sheila is awesome, Tony’s estimate took all of 15 minutes. If you’re moving anywhere in/near NJ and don’t use Peers, why take that risk?

Peers Moving has the most wonderful staff! Our move was in two parts. One was a truck load from NJ to ME, and most recently they packed up our 8 room house in Morristown. I have used Peers quite a few times in the past for small local moves ( ie clearing out my parents house to mine etc) This was a big sentimental move out of my house of 29 years in NJ to PA! My daughter told me they were awesome on her watch in NJ and they were nothing but helpful, caring and willing to listen as to where things go in my new home ( even when I changed my mind) in Bethlehem! Just finished a move from Randolph to Bloomfield. Peers was excellent every step of the way. Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable during the walkthrough and educated us along the way on how to prepare for the move. Tim was very responsive and professional before and after the move and Samir and his 9 person crew worked very carefully and efficiently on moving everything out of our home of 25 years and getting it back into the new location. I was amazed how they navigated a very tight set of stairs to get some rather large items to the 3rd floor. Highly recommend them!

Hired Peers for a move from Denville to Mendham. Some of the nicest and polite group of guys. 5 guys for 7 hours moved our entire house. They were careful with everything and nothing was damaged. They place everything where I asked and even helped me throw two huge rugs out that the previous owner left behind. I would highly recommend this company.

The folks at Peers Moving Co are very easy to do business with. It took us almost a year to find our new home and Peers moved our belongings into storage, looked after them for a year, and then repacked the trucks and moved everything to our new home across state lines. Everything went very well and the service was first class. From small things like having the same friendly contacts answer the phone quickly every time I called; to important considerations like the care the teams take in wrapping and packing some treasured items we did not box ourselves and carefully handling all of our furniture… all was professional. I am fussy about customer service excellence and moving is a ‘high touch’ service business, but Peers builds trust from day one and makes the whole experience far less stressful than other national companies we have used in the past. Congrats and thanks to Tim and Sheila for their leadership and Pepe, Samir and ALL members of the moving teams for a job well done!

Peers went above and beyond for my recent move. I had a lot of antique furniture and family heirlooms, I found them to be respectful and careful. 8 guys, 8 hours, 2 trucks. Tim the owner always responded to my questions very satisfactorily. I moved out of state recently and the move was as smooth as I anticipated besides minor delays due to weather related and truck issues, but this was handled very well by them. Samir the lead guy was excellent, the crew very courteous and fast. Packaging of the items done by them was exceptional. I didn’t had a single piece broken. Tim and the crew are best, they know what they are doing. All I can say that if you are looking for a reliable company don’t look any further. I would recommend them 100%.
